A Backyard Pizza Picnic

The backyard plants are almost all in.

I am going to wait until autumn to plant the rest.

My mother loves to sit outside in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee 

as she enjoys her backyard.

It will take a few years for the new plants to grow...

but they should look nice once they do.

I had various Japanese Maples, Ginko Bilobas, Burning Bushes...

as well as flowering ground cover planted...

and in autumn, I will fully plant the flower planters with mostly Siberian Iris.

My elder sister will have my mother's thick and warm robe done in time for winter.

Bandi loves playing with my younger sister's dog.

We are taking care of it for a month while she is away visiting her family

on the East Coast.

My mother enjoys watching the dogs play.

She will love the flowers once they bloom next Spring.

An Old Druid

My elder sister made this winter robe for me.

One of her hobbies is sewing...

and she has already made my mother a bunch of clothing.

This is a full length...

double walled and fully insulated very warm robe.

I look like an ancient druid.

I will wear this even in windy and snowy conditions...

and it will keep me plenty warm.

I come in peace...brother.  :)

I will wear this during the colder winter months as I sit outside looking at the snow.

I simply could not find a long and warm enough robe...

so, my sister made me one.

She will make my mother a similar one so we can sit outside and enjoy the snow together.

My sister put the same insignia of which I have a pendant.

I had gotten it to celebrate the completion of my first trilogy.

My inner beast is a good white tiger...

which is in combat with the bad side...

the dragon.

A Bar-B-Q For My Mother

A few days ago...

my elder sister had a bar-b-q for my mother at her house.

She has a great bar-b-q.  It cooks quickly and then self cleans.

Bandi enjoyed the new atmosphere...

but when we were inside eating...

she kept looking through the windows at all the food.

The chicken was especially delicious.

My sister used a rub from the best bar-b-q restaurant in town.

As we were eating...

my sister put on the Pink Floyd Pulse concert on TV.

 

My mother likes it when we gather all together for meals.

Although she is losing many of her memories...

we will just continue making more magical ones for her to enjoy.

Prosser Reservoir And A Burger

On this night, I took my mother and my elder sister to 

Prosser Reservoir for sunset...

and then afterwards...

to Mel's for supper.

My mother greatly enjoys our outings...

and as the weather is getting warmer...

I plan to take my mother out at least once a week

for an outing in the mountains and for supper afterwards.

This man had a bicycle drive open kayak and he peddled around the reservoir as 

he fished.

My sister took Bandi on a short stroll.

We then ate at Mel's dinner inside of Boomtown Casino.

I ordered my mother a Mel's third pound burger with fries...

and she had a Blue Moon beer...her favorite.

They make good burgers here...

and we will often go here after our mountain outings.

I dropped off my sister at her house...

and then took my mother back home.

My mother enjoys our outings...

and so...

I will do them more often.
