Breakfast For Bandi / Meat Spaghetti Supper

Song:  Sweet Love (Cover)

Every week or so...
I vary Bandi's diet by making 8 - 10 eggs to eat for breakfast.

And my mm and I will eat eggs in ramen as an occasional breakfast.

My mom loves this occasional meal.

Eggs are especially healthful several times a week.

Besides having one of the most bioavailable forms of protein...
it has sulfurous compounds which keep the immune system in a healthy state.

Bandi loves eggs.

Bandi often watches me while I cook.
She loves to hang her paws over the sofa as she looks at what is happening in the kitchen.

A cute but sad side note:

The other morning I heard Bandi barking in the living room.

I went to see what she was barking at.

We have an enlarged picture of Hana on the wall next to her urn on the fireplace mantle.

Bandi was looking at Hana's picture and barking at it.

Bandi still loves to sleep with a blanket with Hana's scent on it.

Last night I made fire roasted ponzu peppers.

My mother loves the smell of freshly cut bell peppers.

I ordered a new fire basket.

This one is much larger than the last.

I started browning the one pound of hamburger for the spaghetti sauce.

I made three batches of fire roasted bell peppers.

Besides the hamburger meat...
I add these ingredients.

The Italian spiced stewed tomatoes also add a great deal of flavor to spaghetti.

I literally add several hand fulls of Oregano.

This adds a great flavor to spaghetti...
as well as a pizza topping.

My elder sister and her husband came over for supper.

We started eating the ponzu peppers as I finished the spaghetti.

Bell peppers add great amounts of fiber...
as well as being highly nutritious.

Fire roasting them greatly enhances their aroma and flavor.

I really like chili ponzu.

My sister made the garlic bread.

AsI try to make a tomato based meal at least once a week...
spaghetti accomplishes this goal...
along with having plenty of beef as well.

Our favorite non alcoholic beer is Coors Edge.

It is strange...
in our family...
the men drink non alcoholic beer...
while my elder sister and my mother love regular beer.
