It was from this point that things really started to get interesting.
The true depth of the colors started to emerge.
My mother really enjoyed herself here.

we sat down to rest for a short while.
My mother loved the lights...
but she needed to rest her legs.
Part of the walk was uphill.
In the last article...
the lights really lit up the night...
and gave an other worldly feeling.
I especially liked the way they lit up the trees with the lanterns.
From all along the pathways...
there were speakers playing nice Chinese music.
What a wonderful job the people who put on this display did.
They hauled everything to this park in 20 fully loaded semi-truck trailers.
It took their crew a month and a half to set everything up.
The festival runs until August 5th.
