Today we took a circular Alpine Hwy loop to view the Fall colors.
(My elder sister, her husband, my mother and I)
We were going back to the river to walk along that from the day before...
however, the rain must have had accompanying high winds...
and the leaves there were not in good shape.
So, we just stopped at places which looked interesting which were along
the Alpine Hwy.
It was sunny...
so, many of the colors popped.
We found this grove right near the highway.
My mother got out and we walked around for a bit.
We then stopped at multiple places right off the highway to take
more beautiful shots of Autumn.
These will be in the next article.
Looks like a fantastic fall day for a hike! The colors of the Aspen really pop with the sunshine. Your mother looks so happy! Glad she was able to get out and enjoy the season!
